7 Years ago, when I first stood in front of a classroom full of students as an educator, I remember thinking that this is the part I have to nail. But, as the years have worn on, I have come to the realization that facilitation is less than half of the work. A truly great learning experience, excels at the facilitation phase because of all the behind the scenes instructional design. It is in this space where the designer will figure out how to reach a learner's highest potential, and that is what led me to be an instructional designer. Its my highest potential to keep the common denominator going strong. 

Today, I use all the skills that I learned as an educator along with everything I know from earning my master's degree in instructional design to design and build world-class learning experiences. Whether I'm designing an in-person workshop, a micro-learning module, an interactive eLearning course, or a simple job aid, my goal is always the same--to tap into each learners potential and to create memories that last.
