The initial design of this course began with a conversation with a subject matter expert in ESL, who described the problem of tone in the ESL community. In collaboration with the SME, the scope of the project came into focus. I developed measurable learning objectives, and created a flowchart to help visualize overall course flow and key decision points. 

After creating the course outine, I began drafting storyboards to establish navigation, the look and feel of the course, and to plan how the coaching avatar, "Veronika" would interact with learners, how decision points would unfold, and which feedback option would be displayed upon selection.  

Because of the complexity of scenario-based eLearning modules, I developed this course in Articulate Storyline. Most of the assets were locally sourced and edited within Storyline itself, while a few stock images were sourced from Unsplash.
